What we do

Renewable energy projects don't pause for component allocations. When your solar inverter needs 5,000 SiC MOSFETs and your primary channel quotes 30 weeks, Aurora finds them. We stock the power discretes, gate drivers, and control ICs that solar, storage, and EV charging infrastructure runs on.

THREE CONVERTERS POWERING THE ENERGY TRANSITION

Solar String Inverter

1,500V DC bus. 3-phase output. Every power stage uses SiC MOSFETs (Wolfspeed, Infineon CoolSiC) or IGBTs switching at 20-50 kHz through reinforced isolated gate drivers (TI UCC215xx). The control board runs a real-time MCU (TI C2000) with high-resolution PWM for grid synchronization.

Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)

Bi-directional DC-DC and DC-AC conversion. Dual-active bridge topologies using SiC MOSFETs on both primary and secondary. Current sensors (Allegro, LEM) with 1,500V isolation. Contactors and pre-charge circuits that handle kiloamp inrush -- with TVS diodes and fusing that must not fail under fault conditions.

DC Fast Charger (EVSE)

AC-DC front end (Vienna rectifier) feeding isolated DC-DC modules. SiC is mandatory at 30kW+ per module. Each charger stacks multiple power modules in parallel -- component count multiplies fast. The communication stack needs isolated CAN and Ethernet PHYs for OCPP back-end connectivity.

CUSTOMER STORIES

Independent third-party certification ensures our products meet the highest standards. We take this responsibility seriously and remain accountable to these standards.

A Bavarian packaging machinery builder faced a line stop when STM suddenly allocated their STM32F407 controller -- the sole MCU across 3 machine models. Production was 72 hours from halting. Aurora sourced 5,000 verified units across authorized European and Asian channels. Full lot traceability. Same firmware binary. Zero line downtime.*

A Northern Italian system integrator discovered mid-project that a single Harting industrial connector -- specified into 22 control panels -- carried a 16-week lead time. Aurora cross-referenced a TE Connectivity equivalent from stock in Singapore. 130 units delivered in 4 days. The integrator now runs all connector BOMs through Aurora before finalizing panel designs.*
