We test like a production line depends on it. Because yours does.
WHAT WE DO
Aurora provides customized services/flexible solutions that incorporate efficient supply chain management, strategic procurement and accurate demand forecasting to better assist each client.
Aurora's quality protocol isn't a checkbox. It's the reason our customers sleep through their production runs.
We don't own a factory - so we're obsessive about what comes through our dock. From a 2-cent resistor to a $5,000 FPGA: same pipeline. Same standard. No shortcuts. No "sampling" on high-risk parts. No "good enough."
From supplier onboarding to outgoing shipment, every step is documented, auditable, and owned by a real person.
Our QA framework: supplier qualification audits, incoming visual inspection, X-ray sampling, documentation verification, ESD-safe handling, and full lot traceability from factory to your dock. Every inspector receives annual retraining on MSL and ESD compliance, counterfeit mitigation, and updated detection techniques.
High-value and high-risk components go deeper. Non-destructive testing (NDT) first: stereo and high-power microscopes at 500x magnification detect package overlays, sanding marks, oxidation, and re-tinning. X-ray inspection compares internal die structures against manufacturer golden samples.
When NDT isn't enough: decapsulation testing exposes die markings for direct verification against manufacturer records. One mismatch. Entire lot rejected. No appeals.
Zero tolerance. Not "zero tolerance unless the price is good." Zero.
Suspect parts are quarantined, documented, and returned to source. Supplier agreements include financial penalties for counterfeit submissions. One confirmed strike - removed from our entire network. We also test active components for short circuits, voltage, and temperature compliance; passive components for correct resistance, capacitance, and inductance values.
OUR INSPECTION PIPELINE
Nine checkpoints. Every shipment. Every time.
01
External Packaging Check Outer box integrity. Shipping labels. Tamper seals. Before we open anything.
02
Document Verification Packing lists, certificates of conformance, manufacturer COO - cross-checked against order.
03
Label Verification Manufacturer part number, date code, lot code, quantity - verified against physical labels.
04
Detailed Visual Inspection 500x digital microscope. Package surface, markings, pin condition, signs of resurfacing or re-tinning.
05
Digital Photography Every batch photographed and archived. Permanent visual record for audit and traceability.
