What we do

5G infrastructure runs on components that didn't exist a decade ago. RF power amplifiers pushing 100W at 3.5 GHz. Optical transceivers moving 400G per wavelength. Aurora supplies the RF, optical, and power components that telecom OEMs and operators count on -- through market swings and allocation disruptions.

THREE SYSTEMS POWERING 5G NETWORKS

Massive MIMO Radio Unit (RU)

The heart of every 5G base station. 64 transmit / 64 receive chains, each with a GaN or GaAs power amplifier (Qorvo, Macom), an LNA (Skyworks), and a digital predistortion feedback path through high-speed ADCs (TI AFE79xx). Component count is astronomical. Supply risk is concentrated.

Optical Fronthaul / Backhaul Module

Moving CPRI and eCPRI traffic between the radio and the baseband requires 25G/100G optical transceivers, high-speed SERDES, and precision clock generators (TI LMK series, Silicon Labs). Jitter matters. So does availability during deployment waves.

Baseband & Edge Compute Unit

Programmable logic (Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+, Intel Agilex) handles the signal processing. High-current point-of-load regulators, DDR4/5 memory interfaces, and PCIe Gen4/5 connectivity for the data plane. Thermal management becomes the limiting factor in outdoor deployments.

CUSTOMER STORIES

Independent third-party certification ensures our products meet the highest standards. We take this responsibility seriously and remain accountable to these standards.

A Bavarian packaging machinery builder faced a line stop when STM suddenly allocated their STM32F407 controller -- the sole MCU across 3 machine models. Production was 72 hours from halting. Aurora sourced 5,000 verified units across authorized European and Asian channels. Full lot traceability. Same firmware binary. Zero line downtime.*

A Northern Italian system integrator discovered mid-project that a single Harting industrial connector -- specified into 22 control panels -- carried a 16-week lead time. Aurora cross-referenced a TE Connectivity equivalent from stock in Singapore. 130 units delivered in 4 days. The integrator now runs all connector BOMs through Aurora before finalizing panel designs.*
