Every Smart Device Starts With the Right Component.

Aurora provides electronic component sourcing solutions for IoT and smart device manufacturers, supporting connected products with microcontrollers, wireless modules, sensors, communication ICs, and low-power electronic solutions.

What we do

IoT product teams face a fragmented supply chain: low-power MCU here, wireless module there, sensors everywhere. Aurora consolidates it -- one partner for the entire BOM, across every wireless protocol and every sensor type you spec.

THREE IOT SYSTEMS, THREE DIFFERENT BOMS

Remote Environmental Sensor Node

Battery-powered, field-deployed, maybe solar-assisted. A LoRa or NB-IoT module (Semtech, Quectel), an ultra-low-power MCU (STM32L0, Ambiq Apollo), and environmental sensors (Bosch BME280, Sensirion SHT series). The power budget drives every component choice -- 5uA sleep current is the benchmark.

Smart Building Gateway

Wall-powered, multi-protocol, always connected. A high-performance application processor or Linux-capable SoC, WiFi 6 + BLE 5.2 + Thread combo module, Ethernet PHY, and isolated RS-485 for legacy building automation. This BOM crosses 200 lines before you add the enclosure sensors.

Asset Tracker (GNSS + Cellular)

Battery-optimized but needs to ping location periodically. A GNSS module (u-blox), an LTE-M/NB-IoT modem (Quectel BG95), and an IMU for dead-reckoning between fixes. Power management is the hardest part -- waking GNSS from a coin cell isn't trivial.

CUSTOMER STORIES

Independent third-party certification ensures our products meet the highest standards. We take this responsibility seriously and remain accountable to these standards.

A Bavarian packaging machinery builder faced a line stop when STM suddenly allocated their STM32F407 controller -- the sole MCU across 3 machine models. Production was 72 hours from halting. Aurora sourced 5,000 verified units across authorized European and Asian channels. Full lot traceability. Same firmware binary. Zero line downtime.*

A Northern Italian system integrator discovered mid-project that a single Harting industrial connector -- specified into 22 control panels -- carried a 16-week lead time. Aurora cross-referenced a TE Connectivity equivalent from stock in Singapore. 130 units delivered in 4 days. The integrator now runs all connector BOMs through Aurora before finalizing panel designs.*
